The Little Reader's Society Level One & Two : Thursdays April, May Session

This Little Readers Society course offers a 6-week multi-sensory experience designed to build a strong literacy foundation for young readers. Led by an experienced Early Childhood Educator from Kids Ko Childcare, this program includes two levels to support different stages of reading development. Level 1 focuses on introducing letter sounds, rhyming, and sound mapping strategies to build confidence in emerging readers. Level 2 progresses to mastering CVC (Consonant-Vowel-Consonant) words, short vowel sounds, and advanced blending techniques through fun and engaging hands-on activities.

Learning Targets:

• Correctly produce and identify letter sounds and names.
• Identify and create rhymes.
• Segment sounds in words.
• Begin blending simple 3-letter CVC words.

Minimum Age: 4
Best suited for children with a solid understanding of letter sounds who are ready to progress to blending.

We are excited to welcome your little ones to our program! To ensure a positive experience, children must be fully potty trained and comfortable being independent of their parents during class.

Course Dates:
April 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15

Thursdays:

• 5:00 - 5:50 PM - LEVEL 1 (Introduction to letter sounds and basic blending)
• 6:00 - 6:50 PM - LEVEL 2 (Focus on CVC words and advanced blending)

Session Cost: $225 + tax

Classes will be run by Brooke Finlayson, Elementary School Teacher . This is a drop-off program; parents do not stay.
