The Little Reader's Society Level THREE : Digraphs + Magic E April May Session

Unlock the power of reading with The Little Readers Society 6-week course on Mastering Digraphs and Magic E Phonics Skills! This engaging and multi sensory program is designed for young learners who are confidently reading CVC (3 letter words) and are ready to take their reading to the next level! An experienced Early Childhood Educator from Kids Ko. Childcare will guide your child through fun, hands-on activities with focused instruction, that will explore the world of digraphs—pairs of letters that create unique sounds—and the Magic E rule, which transforms short vowels into long vowel sounds.

Some of the learning targets for Level 3 are:

Identify and pronounce common consonant (such as sh, ch, th, wh, ck

Understand and apply the Magic E rule to words with long vowel sounds (e.g., cape, hope, bike).

Improve their decoding and encoding skills

Build confidence in reading fluency and spelling.

This course provides a fun, supportive environment to practice and master these key literacy concepts!

TLRS: Beginners Book Club

We’re thrilled to introduce our Beginners Book Club—perfect for students who’ve successfully completed TLRS Level 3 and are ready to dive into beginner chapter books! This club offers an exciting opportunity to strengthen reading skills through engaging stories, supported by a printed comprehension journal to reinforce learning at home.

Throughout this adventure, students will explore essential phonics rules, develop comprehension strategies, make creative craft connections, and practice writing skills. Plus, this club features a slightly less challenging text than our OG Book Club, making it a great stepping stone for building confidence and fostering a love for reading.

Join us as we embark on this exciting journey of discovery and learning!
